Another pilgrim from Kebbi has passed away in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, following a brief illness, adding to the recent death of a female pilgrim from Jega Local Government Area.
Alhaji Muhammad Suleman from Argungu Local Government Area succumbed on Sunday, May 26, 2024, as confirmed by Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, Executive Chairman of the Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board, in a statement to journalists in Mecca. The deceased was laid to rest according to Islamic customs at Al-Masjid Al-Haram (Ka’aba) on the same day. Aliyu-Enabo extended condolences on behalf of the Kebbi Government to the bereaved family and all Kebbi pilgrims, praying for divine mercy and forgiveness for the departed soul and all deceased Muslims.
He encouraged the family to find solace in accepting the divine will, emphasizing the finite nature of human existence.
