In a recent development, the Lagos Rapid Response Squad detained Mubarak Abdullahi, aged 18, at approximately 10 a.m. for the removal of LED road stud lights from the newly-refurbished Third Mainland Bridge. This information was disseminated via a statement shared on X.com.

According to the report, Abdullahi, a resident of Makoko, had already taken away 10 lights when apprehended by patrolling officers.

In the statement, it was detailed that officers from the Lagos Rapid Response Squad made the arrest around 10 a.m. on Friday after catching Abdullahi red-handed in the act of removing LED road stud lights from the recently renovated Third Mainland Bridge.

Abdullahi, residing in Makoko, was found to have already taken 10 of the LED road stud lights affixed to the road to improve visibility for road users.
