One of the verses in Kiss Daniel’s popular song Buga ended with the phrase “So far, so good, koni baje.”
With Dennis Idahosa as the House of Reps member representing Ovia Federal constituency in the National Assembly it has been “so far so good” as he has impacted positively on constituents of Ovia North East and Ovia South West that he has been renamed Mr Projects.
Dennis Idahosa’s goal, according to him, is to use education to secure the next generation and the country.
He has continually strived to ensure that the future of Ovia’s younger generation is secure and that they enjoy a very conducive learning environment.
He has no less than 26 educational intervention projects to his name, including the construction, reconstruction, and renovation of 22 primary and secondary schools in various communities and wards throughout Ovia Federal Constituency, as well as the payment of tuition for 50 students attending the University of Benin and Usen Polytechnic.
Dennis and his educational reforms are unique in that he not only builds classroom blocks or provides educational resources to constituents, but he also guarantees that the school’s access roads are safe and in good condition for students to get to and from school.
