In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, Abbas emphasized the significance of this anniversary, urging followers of Islam to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s life and teachings. He underscored that Prophet Muhammad’s legacy continues to serve as a timeless source of guidance for future generations.
The Speaker called for a period of thoughtful contemplation, inviting both Muslims and all Nigerians to embrace virtues such as charity, forgiveness, honesty, and patriotism. He stressed that these qualities are essential for both leaders and citizens to foster peace and progress within the nation.
Additionally, Abbas encouraged all Nigerians to utilize this occasion to offer prayers for their political, religious, and traditional leaders. He expressed optimism that collective efforts and prayers from all stakeholders would help the nation overcome its current challenge
