The Governor asserted that the ‘New Abia’ he is striving to build prioritizes an individual’s contributions to the state over their place of birth or local government affiliation. He stressed that all residents of the state, whether by birth or not, will be treated equally and fairly.
Otti firmly stated, “The new Abia we are cultivating places little emphasis on one’s state or local government of origin. It does not concern itself with your birthplace. The new Abia values you for what you can contribute.”
He further highlighted that an individual’s birthplace should neither elevate nor diminish their status, emphasizing that it is merely a historical accident.
Governor Otti extended his congratulations to the recently promoted officers and the graduates, urging them to strive for excellence, believe in themselves, and reach their full potential. He assured them that the government would provide them with all necessary support to achieve significant milestones in their careers.
He affirmed, “I want to assure you that this government will provide you with all the essential support needed for your future success. We take great pride in your achievements, and we believe you will bring honor to us in the future.”
