Musa emphasized that despite neighboring countries in the region experiencing coups, Nigeria need not worry.
During his inaugural visit to the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the military leader offered this assurance and pledged to provide ample security for the nation.
In General Musa’s words: “I recently visited several states, starting from Imo State, then Bayelsa, and now I’m in Rivers State, all in an effort to motivate the troops to maintain their dedication and professionalism.
We want to assure Nigerians that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is here to protect them, safeguard democracy, and ensure its flourishing.
There is no need to fear; while neighboring countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have experienced coups, I want to reassure everyone that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is wholeheartedly committed to securing, supporting, and upholding democracy.”
General Musa’s message is clear: Nigerians can have confidence in the Armed Forces’ dedication to safeguarding democracy and ensuring the nation’s security.
