Adamawa Police Apprehend Two Drug Dealers

The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended two drug dealers in Yola South Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, issued on Thursday night, June 6, 2024, the suspects, identified as Bilyaminu Yarima, 25, from Toungo Ward, Yola South, and Halilu Saidu, 38, from Anguwan Bako, Yola South, were apprehended on Wednesday.

“They were apprehended at Yola South market, where they were engaged in the illegal sale of hard drugs and Indian hemp,” he stated.

Nguroje added, “The suspects will face charges in court for their criminal activities. This arrest underscores the Command’s dedication to combatting drug-related crimes and ensuring public safety in the state.”
