This initiative aims to enhance both human and vehicular movement, particularly connecting the permanent National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp located in the Girei local government area of the state.
The disclosure of this project occurred subsequent to the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting held yesterday in Yola. The road serves as a vital link between Girei and Demsa local government areas.
Dr. Umar Garba Pella, the commissioner for education, informed the media that the project contract was awarded to Hydro Source and Resource Nigeria Limited, with a stipulated completion period of 12 months.
Additionally, during the SEC meeting, the council sanctioned a variation exceeding N117 million for the construction of a modern laboratory at Specialist Hospital, Yola.
Initially awarded at over N578 million, this adjustment accounts for the escalated costs of building materials.
