A statement issued on Sunday and signed by his spokesperson, Humwashi Wonosikou, confirmed the governor’s decision to restrict movement throughout the state during the curfew period.

Only individuals engaged in essential duties and possessing valid identification will be allowed to move around.

Governor Fintiri earnestly appealed to the citizens and residents of Adamawa State to comply with the curfew directive, emphasizing that any person found violating the order would be subject to arrest and legal consequences. The stringent measure aims to restore order and protect public safety in the state amid the ongoing unrest.
