So rather than celebrating their fan base’s defeat, this is a chance to reflect on where we went wrong and how the incoming  administration may get things right and restore back the lost trust the people have on governance that led to such brainwashing in the first place.

The APC, led by President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, must step up to the plate. They must not only pacify Nigerians, but also restore hope and dignity in order for people to be proud of themselves and their nation.

Tinubu is not only a tenacious politician; he has also established a trajectory for success in Lagos State in terms of visionary leadership. It is only appropriate that he enlist the help of like-minded individuals who are prepared to foster the vision for improved performance, especially to the satisfaction of the electorate.

Adams Oshiomhole never intended to become a politician, but fate brought him into politics when he rose to the top of the ladder as NLC president. After his term, it became clear that the only way he could continue the fight and serve the people he had stood up for since he was 17 years old was to join the executive.

Adams Oshiomhole’s election to the 10th Senate will not only energise the red chambers but also serve as a model for effective legislative experience. Nigeria now needs leaders who are not self-centered but look out for the interests of the people.

Those like Oshiomhole who speak truth to power should be given a particular role in the incoming administration, as they say it is not only about compensation but competency. Asiwaju Tinubu must find a space for the Big Fish to complement his efforts to leave a lasting legacy for Nigerians.

It is a moment for National Healing, a time to look back and tell ourselves the truth, a time to combine the brightest hands to begin the rebuilding process of a great and prosperous Country, Adams Oshiomhole is a Huge Fish that is required for National Growth.
