In a statement released Wednesday evening, the party’s interim spokesperson, Bolaji Abdullahi, declared that the list — which names 36 individuals as state chairmen along with one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) — is completely fabricated and lacks official endorsement.

“The ADC is unaware of any such appointments, and no legitimate announcement has been made regarding state leadership,” Abdullahi affirmed.

He advised Nigerians to confirm any official information concerning the party through its verified (formerly Twitter) handle, managed by the National Publicity Secretary: @BolajiADC.

“Any communication not issued through the party’s designated platforms or verified via the National Publicity Secretary’s account should be disregarded,” he added.

The ADC also sounded the alarm over the rise of fake online platforms claiming to offer party membership registration in exchange for payment.

“The party condemns the actions of individuals operating fake websites designed to defraud innocent Nigerians under the pretense of registering them as ADC members,” Abdullahi said.

He stressed that the ADC has not approved any online payment system for membership registration and warned that such initiatives are fraudulent schemes meant to deceive the public.

Abdullahi urged Nigerians to be vigilant and rely solely on credible, authorised sources for accurate information regarding the ADC and its ongoing coalition activities.
