Adekunle Gold Makes Bold Revelation About Davido’s Loyalty To Those He Loves

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has spoken highly of his relationship with fellow music star Davido, describing him as a genuine friend who remains deeply committed to the people he loves.

Adekunle Gold, popularly known as AG Baby, made the revelation while appearing on the One54 Africa Podcast hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila and Godfrey Danchimah.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the singer reflected on Davido’s personality away from the public spotlight, particularly his willingness to stand by friends and associates even when their relationship has nothing to do with music.

Adekunle Gold praised Davido for being supportive of the people within his circle and emphasised that the singer’s loyalty extends beyond the entertainment industry.

“Davido will ride for anybody he loves,” Adekunle Gold said.

He further described the DMW boss as a genuine person who consistently shows up for those close to him, adding that Davido’s support goes far beyond musical collaborations.

Adekunle Gold also recalled how his friendship with Davido grew stronger following their collaboration on the 2021 hit single “High.” He explained that after writing the song, he believed Davido was the right artiste to feature on the project and reached out to him.

According to the singer, Davido subsequently travelled to Los Angeles for the music video shoot, where they spent time together and strengthened their friendship.

Their musical relationship has continued over the years, with Davido later featuring on Adekunle Gold’s song “Only God Can Save Me,” from his Fuji album.

Beyond their collaborations, the two artistes have also shown support for each other by making surprise appearances at one another’s performances.

Adekunle Gold’s latest comments have offered fans further insight into the bond between the two stars, portraying their relationship as one founded on genuine friendship, mutual respect and support that extends beyond music.
