In a statement from his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, it was revealed that Adeleke made this request during a meeting with Minister of Works Dave Umahi in Abuja on Friday.
Adeleke discussed the current state of federal and state roads while requesting additional federal support. He highlighted that his administration has initiated multi-billion naira infrastructure projects, including flyovers, road dualization, and the construction of major roadways throughout the state. Rasheed also noted that the governor updated Umahi on some completed projects under his administration.
