He asserted that the federal government’s revenue allocation to the state had significantly increased but had not translated into improvements in the lives of the state’s residents.

Responding to Bashiru’s assertions on Friday, the state chairman of the PDP, Sunday Bisi, argued that the APC stalwart had overlooked the progress and positive transformations taking place in Osun State.

Bisi conveyed his viewpoint through a statement, maintaining that Adeleke is guiding the state toward sustainable development by implementing projects like road infrastructure improvement, enhanced healthcare services, and an upgraded education system.

Bisi also urged Basiru to stop harboring hopes of the APC’s return to power in the state. He emphasized that the progress achieved in Osun under Governor Adeleke’s administration is notable, marking a departure from the previous 13 years and the transformation of the state in less than a year of PDP governance.
