The governor affirmed his commitment to workers’ welfare and the gradual implementation of palliative measures to alleviate the effects of subsidy removal.

In a circular issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building, the governor’s approval stipulates a monthly N15,000 wage award for state workers and N10,000 for pensioners. The wage award is slated to run for six months, commencing from December, as disclosed by Permanent Secretary Sunday Olugbenga Fadele.

Acknowledging the understanding of Osun state workers and pensioners, the administration aims to uphold its commitment to worker welfare, emphasizing the importance of meeting their needs consistently.
