The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially revealed the fixtures for the preliminary round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). In the preliminary round, Somalia will face Eswatini, Sao Tome will take on South Sudan, Chad will play against Mauritius, and Djibouti will compete against Liberia. The fixtures are set to be played on a home and away basis between March 20 and March 26, 2024.
These matches will determine which four teams will advance to join the 44 exempted teams in the group stage of the AFCON 2025 tournament. Ultimately, 24 teams will qualify for the finals, which will be hosted by Morocco.
