Former spokesperson of the now-defunct Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, emphasized the critical need for Nigeria to achieve safety and security ahead of the 2027 general elections during an interview on Arise Television.
Bwala expressed appreciation for President Bola Tinubu’s efforts in addressing the nation’s challenges. Despite his affiliation with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he asserted no regrets, stating his decisions are driven by personal convictions.
Highlighting the imperative of a stable Nigeria for successful elections, Bwala acknowledged the current administration’s initiatives in rectifying past wrongs. He lauded the president’s call for unity among opposition parties for the greater cause of nation-building, stressing the primacy of national interests over political agendas.
In the latest developments, the Ijaw Youth Council praised Tinubu’s appointment of a PAP Administrator, while Real Madrid lodged a complaint following racist incidents directed at Vinicius. Additionally, various sports competitions boasting substantial prize money and the federal government’s urging of state governors to establish safe school response centers amid rising kidnappings were highlighted. Ondo State’s plan to recruit 2,000 teachers was also mentioned.
