Airstrike By NAF Eliminates Several Bandits And Their Supporters
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of several bandits and key supporters of notorious bandit leaders Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule. In a statement, Akinboyewa explained that the airstrikes were conducted by the Air Component of Operation Fansan Yamma on Friday, November 15, in Zamfara State, following credible intelligence reports. The strikes targeted a large gathering of bandits in Babban Kauye village, located in Tsafe Local Government Area. Intelligence had indicated that the bandits were planning coordinated attacks against both military personnel and civilians along the Tsafe axis.

“Upon receiving actionable intelligence, the NAF launched a series of precise airstrikes, causing significant casualties among the criminal elements,” Akinboyewa stated. “Reports from the ground confirmed the successful elimination of several high-ranking members of the bandit groups, severely crippling their ability to operate.”

The NAF spokesperson also noted that remote villages like Babban Kauye are often used by terrorist groups as safe havens, from which they plan and carry out their illegal activities.
