He emphasized that the administration inherited a challenging and unfavorable environment, and implored for understanding and patience.

“We are facing difficulties and challenges that are not our making. We inherited a very bad situation,” Ribadu stated, emphasizing the government’s eagerness to engage and respond to the prevailing issues.

Aisha Yesufu expressed her response to Ribadu’s assertion through a video shared on her Twitter page. She recalled how she had faced criticism in the past for her vocal opposition to the Muhammadu Buhari administration. She noted that it seems acceptable for the NSA to make similar claims without facing condemnation.

Yesufu asserted that the challenges currently faced by the country are even more severe than those encountered during the Buhari administration.
