This announcement, conveyed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, was made in a statement released to the media on Friday. Notably, this move follows the earlier selection of Mr. Olaide Adelami, a former Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, as the deputy governor of the state.

The reshuffling of the state’s leadership became evident a few hours prior when the governor dismissed all the existing commissioners and special advisers on Wednesday. The statement on the commissioner nominees includes the following individuals: Mrs. Omowumi Isaac; Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN; Razaq Obe; Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan; Akinwumi Sowore; and Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi.

Furthermore, the governor has appointed individuals to serve as Special Advisers in various capacities, including Olugbenga Omole as Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mrs. Olamide Falana as Special Adviser on Gender Affairs, and Mr. Alabi Johnson as Special Adviser on Energy.
