Alex Ikwechegh, Abia Rep, Under Fire For Threatening Driver: I’ll Make You DisappearOn Sunday, House of Representatives member Alex Ikwechegh physically assaulted an e-hailing driver, Stephen Abuwatseya, who was delivering a package to him. A viral video shows the incident unfolding at Ikwechegh’s residence in Maitama, Abuja, where he repeatedly slapped and insulted the driver for asking him to come outside to receive the delivery.

Ikwechegh, who represents the Aba North & South Federal Constituency (APGA), claimed that the driver’s request was disrespectful due to his social status and threatened to make him “disappear” without any repercussions. The video captures him asserting his power and refusing to pay the driver.
