Announcing the results, Uche Nwegbo, the returning officer for the election, stated: “A total of 3,260 delegates were eligible, with 3,175 accredited. Out of 3,172 votes cast, four were invalid. The governor received 3,168 yes-votes, with no no-votes.”

In line with INEC guidelines, Nwegbo declared Soludo as the party’s candidate, stating, “I, Uche Nwegbo, hereby declare Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as the official candidate of our party.”

Upon accepting his nomination, Soludo expressed his gratitude and reassured the party and Anambra citizens of his commitment. “Our party has grown stronger, and APGA has become synonymous with Anambra. I am humbled by this overwhelming support and accept this nomination with great pride,” he said.

Soludo highlighted the party’s progress, noting, “Anambra continues to rise under the leadership of APGA, and I am honored to continue this journey with the support of our people.”
