In a video shared by Crimewatch Zimbabwe on X (formerly Twitter), several men, believed to be from the Mapostori sect, were seen holding the man down while others struck him with rubber sticks. The footage, filmed by a bystander and later posted on social media, shows the men interrogating him. One attacker is heard asking, “How many women have you slept with, and why did you do it?”

Reports suggest that the man reportedly entered these relationships after some women complained that their husbands were not meeting their needs.

Social media quickly reacted, with many tagging the police to demand action against the men who carried out the assault. Viewers expressed shock over the growing trend of violence in response to infidelity, particularly highlighting recent incidents of arrests involving assaults on suspected cheating partners.
