A resident of Kwaku, Samson Ishaya, shared details with *Daily Trust* on Thursday, August 29, explaining that the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, which coincided with the Kwaku market day.
According to Ishaya, the suspects allegedly stole a motorcycle from a drinking joint located behind the market. After a man at the joint raised an alarm, commercial motorcyclists pursued the suspects, managing to apprehend one while the other escaped after they crashed the motorcycle.
“The one riding the motorcycle fell after the crash, and a mob descended on him, killing him, while the other suspect managed to escape,” Ishaya reported.
