Naija News reports that the PDP accused Tinubu of boasting about achievements in his speech, arguing that it revealed the APC’s insensitivity to the challenges faced by Nigerians. They described the address as a “complete waste of time,” asserting that it failed to tackle the pressing economic and security issues currently afflicting the country. The PDP criticized the speech for neglecting to recognize the hardships endured by millions of Nigerians, including economic struggles, unemployment, and extreme poverty.

In response, the APC issued a statement through its Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, claiming that the opposition’s remarks stemmed from frustration over the ruling party’s accomplishments. What they should realize is that since their exit from power, sanity has returned to Nigeria, and peace has been restored, particularly in Abuja, the nation’s capital.”
