Ganduje made this statement while welcoming former Senate President Pius Anyim to the party, emphasizing that Anyim’s joining is “a huge blessing.”
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on Sunday, Ganduje highlighted that Anyim’s extensive experience would be an asset to the APC.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Ganduje had earlier welcomed Anyim, who defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), into the APC during a ceremony in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.
“I’m delighted to receive such a prominent figure into our party,” Ganduje said. “On behalf of President Bola Tinubu, I assure you that you are welcome to the largest political party in Africa. Rest assured, you will be given the same opportunities as long-time members of our party, allowing you to contribute your considerable experience and support.”
