Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, the South-South Zonal Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has called upon Nigerians, especially those in the Niger Delta region, to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

Agbomhere issued this appeal in response to the reappointment of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Abuja on Thursday.

The APC official encouraged leaders, ministers, and stakeholders in the South-South region to throw their support behind Tinubu’s vision for the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.

He emphasized the importance of implementing the Renewed Hope agenda, which entails diligently working towards stability and development in the Niger Delta region, ultimately contributing to the progress of the entire nation and safeguarding its oil resources.

Agbomhere commended Dr. Ogbuku’s reappointment as a recognition of his visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and strong commitment to the transformation of the Niger Delta region.

He noted that Dr. Ogbuku’s leadership is characterized by transparency, accountability, and a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, all of which are crucial attributes for revamping the NDDC and restoring the confidence of Nigerians in the Commission’s ability to fulfill its core mandate.
