APC’s 45 Million Membership Scam Exposed By Basiru Casts Shadow Over 2023 Election....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Senator Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, has debunked the party’s claim of having 45 million members, labeling it a fabrication used for undisclosed agendas. Basiru revealed this discrepancy during the 2023 elections, where the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, struggled to garner even 10 million votes.
Speaking at the commencement of the e-membership registration and ‘Train-the-Trainer’ workshop in Abuja, Basiru emphasized the importance of honesty in political party registries, quoting the doctrine of Amilcar Cabral.
Commending Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, for addressing the issue transparently, Basiru urged the registration coordinators to only admit individuals with valid National Identification Numbers to ensure the integrity of the new membership register.
Ganduje echoed Basiru’s sentiments, stressing the significance of biometric data in the registration process. He urged Nigerians willing to join the APC to provide accurate biometric details matching their National Identity Numbers, as this would be crucial for future appointments and electoral contests within the party.
