APGA Denounces Lawmaker’s Attack On Abuja Motorist, Announces Disciplinary MeasuresThe All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) condemned the alleged assault of an e-hailing driver by Alex Ikwechegh, the House of Representatives member for Aba North and South. In a statement released on Monday, signed by National Publicity Secretary Mazi Ejimofor Opara, APGA described the lawmaker’s actions as completely unacceptable and inconsistent with the party’s constitution. The statement emphasized that the party is grounded in principles of human dignity, regardless of background.

APGA announced that a disciplinary committee will be formed to investigate the incident and determine appropriate sanctions if Ikwechegh is found at fault. Opara reiterated that all APGA members and elected officials are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct and integrity in all their dealings.

The party’s statement concluded by reinforcing its commitment to the values of respect and community, stating, “We are our Brother’s and Sister’s keeper, and it cannot be any other way.
