Gunmen, believed to be kidnappers, targeted the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku Ozalla, in Enugu State, in an incident that transpired on Tuesday morning, as reported by BUSHRADIOGIST.
The assailants abducted a female deputy director in nursing services and a security personnel during the attack. An abandoned SUV, purportedly belonging to the kidnapped nurse, displayed bullet-perforated glass on the front passenger side.
As of now, neither the Enugu State Police Command nor the Hospital management has officially confirmed the occurrence of the attack. However, a reliable source verified to DAILY POST that this incident took place at the same location where a medical doctor was abducted a few weeks ago.
Expressing concern, a distressed staff member remarked, “This is so sad; we are not safe at all in this hospital; everywhere is porous.
