Yesterday in Lagos was the farewell praise party for the late gospel musician Sammie Okposo. The late Sammie Okposo’s songs were played to start the celebration. Then a group of gifted choristers performed stunning renditions while praising God. They had an amazing, spirit-filled praising session before eventually starting to worship God. Top celebs including Chinedu Ikedieze, Ay Comedian, Ali Baba, Charles Inojie, Segun Arinze, Tee A, Desmond Elliot, and many others were seen mingling and catching up during the praise session. The late Sammie Okposo’s wife and other family members were then greeted by Ali Baba.
Tope Alabi, a gospel singer, performed on stage in a stunning manner. As they mourned the late Sammie Okposo, many found solace in her uplifted and soulful music.
Timi Dakolo also performed quite well on stage. Everyone danced as he performed dancehall gospel music. It was a noteworthy occasion.
