Atiku, expressing his long-standing collaboration with Dino Melaye since 1999, lauded him as a trustworthy, industrious, intelligent, and patriotic individual. He implored the people of Kogi to elect Melaye as their next governor.

Atiku argued that Melaye does not engage in harmful actions, unlike the present administration led by Yahaya Bello, which he accused of causing harm to people.

“Dino is dedicated, resolute, courageous, and goal-oriented. He doesn’t resort to violence, unlike the current administration in Kogi State. I am urging you to come out, vote for PDP, and safeguard your votes,” Atiku emphasized.

Criticizing Yahaya Bello for allegedly refusing the PDP the use of Confluence Stadium Lokoja for their campaign rally, Atiku asserted that it was time to oust the ruling APC to put an end to unfavorable policies in Kogi State.

“They obstructed us in Osun State, denying us the use of the stadium, but we later conducted our rally at the party office. Eventually, PDP ousted them from the Government House.

Now, they are preventing us from using Confluence Stadium Lokoja and booking all the hotels just to hinder our presence.

Despite their actions, you all demonstrated solidarity and support for Senator Dino Melaye by gathering at the party Secretariat,” he concluded.
