Atiku Responds To Tijjani Babangida And Wife’s Car Crash

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has issued a statement in response to the recent car accident involving former Super Eagles player Tijjani Babangida on the Kaduna-Zaria highway. According to Najja News, Babangida was hospitalized following the incident, which occurred on Thursday.

The accident involved Babangida, his younger brother Ibrahim, his wife, his son, and their maid, as reported by Emmanuel Babayaro, the general secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN). Tragically, Ibrahim lost his life in the accident, while the other passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

In a message shared via his official handle on Friday, Atiku expressed his condolences to Babangida and his family, offering prayers for their healing and comfort during this difficult time. He specifically mentioned Babangida, his wife, son, and maid, extending his sympathies for the loss of Ibrahim.
