Avoid Crime, Avoid Crime— Lady Issues Strong Warning After EFCC Visit

A Nigerian lady who recently visited an office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken to social media to warn Nigerians against engaging in criminal activities.

The lady, identified by her X handle as @ChisomAgbafor, did not disclose the reason for her visit to the anti-corruption agency or provide details about what happened during her time at the office.

According to Bush Radio Academy, she shared the warning in a widely circulated post, repeatedly urging members of the public to stay away from crime.

“I went to EFCC office today and all I can tell you is avoid crime, avoid crime, avoid crime, avoid crime, avoid crime, avoid crime, avoid crime,” she wrote.

Although the social media user did not explain what prompted the warning, her message generated reactions from other users, with some agreeing with her advice while others discussed broader issues surrounding crime and economic hardship in Nigeria.

One user identified as Mankind said crime remained wrong regardless of whether someone had previously been caught, while also arguing that economic hardship could contribute to criminal activities.
