Mohammed made the remark on Thursday while hosting African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Peter Obi and other South-East stakeholders in Bauchi, where discussions reportedly centered on possible political realignment and cooperation ahead of future elections.

According to the governor, neither the PDP nor the ADC can operate in isolation, noting that the current political climate may create opportunities for stronger opposition alliances. He added that while the meeting involved important political conversations, not all details of the discussions would be made public.

Mohammed also said both he and his party are awaiting judicial clarity over ongoing political uncertainties, stressing that any meaningful political movement must rest on a viable platform. He suggested the present situation could ultimately foster unity and improve the opposition’s chances in future elections.
