In an interview with media personality Chude Chideonwu on the WithChude podcast, Boma described the relationship as wonderful, despite the usual ups and downs.

The reality TV star revealed that his plans to marry the woman were serious, sharing that he had intended to travel to the United States in August to buy an engagement ring.

However, everything changed when his partner’s family intervened, refusing to accept him based on things they had heard about him.

Boma explained that the rejection was a direct result of the scrutiny that comes with being in the public eye. He said,

“I met someone I really liked, and I was going to marry her. Last August, I planned to go to America, get the ring, and bring it back because I truly wanted to propose. It was an amazing relationship — we had a few ups and downs, but I thought it was perfect. That was until her family got involved and said, ‘This guy? Hell no, impossible.’ That completely collapsed everything and it was very discouraging. If I wasn’t in the entertainment industry, nobody would know these things about me. Being in the public eye comes with that price.”
