Speaking at a seminar for aspiring entrepreneurs in Awka, Okafor emphasized the importance of embracing craftsmanship amidst a backdrop of increasing fraudulent activities. He urged young people to recognize the dignity in honest labor and to consider alternative career paths beyond traditional white-collar jobs.

“My experience in carpentry has taught me invaluable lessons,” Okafor remarked. “Regardless of how challenging or unconventional a profession may seem, one can achieve substantial success by mastering the necessary skills.”

Okafor highlighted his unique advantage in the industry, attributing it to his dual role as both a certified interior designer and a skilled carpenter. He recounted handling interior projects exceeding N200 million, underscoring his hands-on approach and innovative strategies in project execution.

“I differentiate myself by actively participating in projects,” Okafor explained. “If standards are not met, I step in personally, leveraging my youth and innovative mindset to accelerate project timelines.”

Reflecting on the journey, Okafor acknowledged early doubts but affirmed his commitment to his profession. “There were moments of uncertainty in the beginning,” he admitted, “but now, entrenched in this endeavor, quitting is no longer an option.”
