The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the dates for promotion examinations and interactive sessions for senior police officers aspiring to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to an official wireless communication issued by the Nigeria Police Force Secretary on November 25, 2025, Superintendents of Police (SPs) shortlisted for elevation to CSP are scheduled to sit for their exams and interviews on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
The exercise will commence at 8 a.m. at the Parry Osayande Auditorium, PSC Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja. Officers are required to report to their respective commanders by 7 a.m. for briefing before being transported to the venue.
A total of 596 SPs were listed to participate, including Bilikisu Shaibu, Ibironke Latifat Aremu, Fatima Yop Ayuba, Fati Alfa, Gimba Audu, Adeyinka Folarin Adeniran, Ibe Ngozi Perpetual, Abdulmalik Abubakar, Bolanle Lizzy Olorundare, Joe Babatunde Oloruleke, Abubakar Abdullahi Ibrahim, Sade Ajibola, Tyonongu Comfort Doosuur, Babangida Mohammed Nuhu, Dauda Yarima Haruna, Chika Sani, Grace Unwubiko and Dauda Joseph.
Similarly, the PSC has fixed Monday, December 1, 2025, for the promotion examination and interactive session for Chief Superintendents of Police aspiring to the rank of ACP. This exercise will also hold at 8 a.m. at the Parry Osayande Auditorium, with officers expected to report to their commanders by 7 a.m.

The PSC also advised all participating officers to refresh their knowledge of professional duties, departmental operations, local laws, and relevant statutes in preparation for the examinations.
The approved dress code includes the standard black jacket, beret and swagger cane, while officers from tactical units are to appear in a black shirt paired with green denim and a beret.
Additionally, the AIG MOPOL has been instructed to deploy 12 armed officers for escort duties on both days. The Transport and Logistics (TRANSFOR) unit is to provide one serviceable vehicle for senior officers and two Hilux vans on standby at Force Headquarters by 6 a.m.
