Nigeria’s Inflation Hits 24.23% in March 2025
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported a further surge in Nigeria’s inflation, with the headline inflation rate reaching 24.23% in March 2025, a 1.05% jump from the 23.18% recorded in February.
In its latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, the NBS revealed that the CPI climbed to 117.34 in March, marking a 4.4-point increase within one month.
“In March 2025, the headline inflation rose to 24.23%, up from 23.18% in February, indicating a monthly increase of 1.05 percentage points,” the report stated.
