Blessing Kona Udie, a 400-level Microbiology student at the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, has been identified as one of the four people brutally murdered in Abuja.
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, the undergraduate and three others, including musician Chop Boii, were hacked to death by unknown assailants in a residence in Abuja’s Gwarimpa neighborhood.
When Blessing accompanied her friends to an apartment with a mini music studio for production, she was said to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The deceased is said to be Chop Boii’s producer’s girlfriend.
DSP Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation has been launched.
Meanwhile, friends, classmates, and family members have taken to Facebook to express their condolences.
