Recent reports have surfaced indicating that Bobrisky, the controversial crossdresser, has not undergone any gender-affirming surgery. Currently, Bobrisky shares a cell with male inmates at the Ikoyi Custodial Centre.

Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison without bail after pleading guilty to Naira mutilation by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday, April 12, 2024. The judgment aims to deter others from abusing and mutilating the currency.

An official from the prison facility where Bobrisky is held disclosed that he underwent examination upon admission, which revealed no realignment of gender or genital organs. Despite public declarations of being male, Bobrisky’s biological features remain unchanged.

Assigned to a cell and following standard procedures, Bobrisky participates in activities like classes and meals without special treatment. The facility emphasizes equal treatment for all inmates and prohibits abuse, particularly in regard to homosexuality, which is strictly forbidden.
