Over the weekend, they reported the finding during a visit to Hon. Mathias Umeh, the representative for the Umunnochi constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.

Representatives, including their traditional ruler HRH Eze Luke Uchechukwu, President General John Ejiofor, and other leaders, spoke about the bomb scare and briefed the state government on the situation.

Acknowledging past insecurity issues in the area, the people of Ala Imenyi expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti’s new administration for implementing effective security strategies.

They urged the state government to continue the fight against bandits and appealed for the establishment of more developmental projects in their community.

In response, Umeh assured the Ala Imenyi community that he would convey their report to the Abia State Government.

He also expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for addressing the previous security challenges in Umunnochi, assuring residents that the region would not tolerate kidnappings, armed robbery, or any other form of crime.
