Borno Attack: Gunmen Murder Police Inspector

State Police Public Relations Officer Nahum Kenneth confirmed the incident in a telephone interview, stating, “We repelled the attackers who attempted to breach the police base in Jakana town. Despite the efforts of the Police Mobile Force stationed there, we lost a male police inspector.” He added that it is too early to determine if the attackers were affiliated with Boko Haram, as their identity remains unknown.
