In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Shorunmu pointed out that individuals often become vulnerable to harassment when they are overly ambitious for fame and quick financial success. Reflecting on her acting career, she shared that it has empowered her to push her creative boundaries, build meaningful relationships, and grow both personally and professionally.
She stated, “In the film industry, people often fall victim to sexual harassment when they become desperate for fame, wealth, or success, or when they lack a creative and positive approach to their careers. I was fortunate to escape that fate by staying true to my values, which gave me a voice and control over the roles and projects I chose.”
Shorunmu, who has a passion for writing action-packed stories, emphasized that acting has been a transformative journey for her. She explained that it has enabled her to unlock her imagination, challenge herself creatively, and connect with others on a deeper level. This journey has greatly shaped her personal and professional life, teaching her valuable lessons along the way.
