In a related move, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Land Matters, ESV. Udeme Daniel Isa, has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect. He has been instructed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands.
The government explained that the reshuffle aims to strengthen the State Executive Council in line with the ARISE Agenda, with all changes effective immediately.
In other political news, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared his intention to contest for the presidency in the 2027 elections. Atiku, a former PDP chieftain, criticized the ruling APC for allegedly downplaying the growing influence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and asserted that the ADC coalition will make a major impact in 2027.
