The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, is currently leading in the ongoing Edo State governorship election.

The election, which took place across the South-south state on Saturday, saw Okpebholo securing 244,549 votes, according to results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
