Breaking: Customs Intercepts Significant Quantity Of Arms, Drugs In Port Harcourt

On Monday, the Nigerian Customs Services (NCS) seized a 40ft container containing various types of arms and nine containers filled with codeine at Onne Port, Rivers State. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the Comptroller General of Customs, exhibited the intercepted weapons and drugs to journalists in Onne, revealing that the weapons had been imported from Turkey. According to Adeniyi, the arms and drugs were concealed within second-hand clothing.
