Breaking: Fubara Announces ₦85,000 Minimum Wage For Rivers State Civil ServantsThe Rivers State Government has approved a new minimum wage of ₦85,000 for its civil servants. Nwaeke confirmed that the new wage would take effect immediately. In response, Chukwu Emecheta, Chairman of the Joint Negotiation Team, praised Governor Fubara for meeting the expectations of Rivers State workers and for his dedication to their welfare.
Alex Agwanwor, Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Rivers State, noted that the new minimum wage would significantly alleviate the financial challenges faced by workers in the state.
