Falz reflected, “I wouldn’t say it was pressure, but as a child, I often received reactions whenever I mentioned my name. People would ask, ‘Which Falana? Is it Femi Falana?’ and share stories about how my dad had helped them.” He emphasized that he aspired to emulate his father’s good deeds rather than feeling coerced.

He noted that his father’s work profoundly influenced him, prompting him to study law, even though he practiced for only a brief period. “I practiced law for nearly two years, but I started stepping away in 2014 when my music career began to take off,” he shared.
