BREAKING: Gov Okpebholo Reshuffles AAU Governing Boards, Appoints PDP Vice Chairman Full List

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Board for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

This announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor.

Okpebholo appointed Dan Orbih, the National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the Chairman of the Board.

The appointments to the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, will take effect from December 31, 2024.

The statement reads in part: “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.”

The new members are:
i. Chief Daniel Osikheme Orbih – Chairman
ii. Martins Osakwe – Member
iii. Prof. Steve Amiemenkharu Iyayi – Member
iv. Hon. Lukman Muhammad – Member
v. Prof. Idialu Jeremiah Uwaifo – Member
vi. Prof. Eric Kelly Inanemo Omogbai – Member
vii. Prof. Omoruyi Ikponmwonse Osahon – Member
